DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

 

Deep-Tissue Massage: This approach is especially effective for chronic strain and contracted areas (neck, lower back, and shoulders). When there is chronic tension or injury, there are usually adhesions (painful and stiff bands of tissue) in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. The deep tissue massage works to release adhesions to relieve pain and promote a return to normal movement.

CONNECTIVE TISSUE MASSAGE

Connective tissue or also called Fascia (Latin) and is an important part of our largest organ: the skin. Subcutaneous connective tissue (Subcutis) lies beneath the epidermis and dermis. This is supporting tissue that occurs throughout our body in various forms.

A connective tissue massage is an intense massage for the body and is therefore not your average massage.The massage technique is slow stroking techniques combined with pressure techniques, performed on the arms, back, legs and feet. Different techniques are discussed during the treatment and usually no oil is used.

Massaging the connective tissue improves blood flow. You can of course also undergo this massage if you just like a firm massage: it is invigorating for the mind and beneficial for the body. It keeps our body in shape, gives us firmness and flexibility.
