Since founding Casa-Sana Sportmassage in 2011, Marcel Tuinstra has been helping people reduce pain, move more freely and stay active with greater confidence. From his practice in Maastricht, he welcomes clients from the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany who are looking for professional, personalised care.
With expertise in sports therapy, sports massage and naturopathic therapies, Marcel looks beyond the symptoms alone. Every treatment is fully tailored to your body, lifestyle and personal goals. The focus is not only on relieving pain, but above all on supporting recovery, improving mobility and strengthening the body's natural ability to recover.
Marcel treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, from sports injuries and overuse complaints to neck, shoulder and back pain caused by work, stress or everyday physical demands. By combining different treatment techniques, he creates a personalised treatment plan based on what your body needs at that moment.
As a Certified Sports Therapist (MYOS), Marcel distinguishes between sports-related injuries and complaints with other underlying causes. He works carefully within the scope of his expertise and, when appropriate, refers clients to other healthcare professionals. This professional and transparent approach is a key part of his commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Alongside his private practice, Marcel has extensive experience in the sporting world. He spent eight seasons as a member of the medical team for MVV U21 and currently serves as Sports Therapist for SV Meerssen 1, where he supports players with recovery, injury prevention and maintaining optimal musculoskeletal function.
